Colaboración

Collaboration makes science better.

We envision a field of ecology that reflects diverse ways of knowing, and builds on novel ideas and theories. To move towards this vision, in our lab, we aim to: 1) reexamine old theories with new data and perspectives; 2) foster creativity in ecology, and; 3) develop communities of practice and resources to help ‘outsiders’ in.

We welcome new partnerships. Contact Dr. Hulshof about exploring synergistic opportunities to leverage existing and build new datasets juntos.

For trainees, when recruiting new lab members, I look for diverse perspectives, creative ideas, and problem-solving skills over grades or past accomplishments. I am always looking for students who know how to navigate obstacles (#rasquachismo).
